This mod edits the base 4 playable characters in the game to have their very own stats and abilities! They are as follows:
Mario: Bonks are simply less strong to him.
Luigi: Higher jump, lower running speed. His third jump is a twirl.
Toad: Lower jump, higher running speed.
Waluigi: Takes less damage, lower jump.
Wario: Dies in a singular hit, hold the punch button in the air to hover for a limited time.
This also adds some quality-of-life improvements:
Hold the punch button while twirling to descend much faster.
Landing from a twirl no longer stops you from moving for a bit.
The text on the top left will soon be removed in favor of a much more graceful method of informing the player of the mod.
