its a bit late but whateverThis mod has two seperate "modes",
-Vanilla game
-Dark mode
When the game goes dark you won't be able to collect stars or keys,
you must collect 25 coins (or more depending on the player count) in order to make the game turn back to Vanilla,
personally managed to get 70 stars with a group of friends so a full playthrough is of course possible
This mod is only compatible with Vanilla, and will be in the "Romhacks" tab when you'll want to select it
There is also an "entity" that will chase you in levels at night (off by default), to enable it do /aocm
