Yes, it's called CoopNet.

You only need an IP when connecting to a direct connection server, which is not what you're trying to do. Just send me a video if whatever issue you're having so I can actually see what's going on

Oh ok so that has nothing to do with version numbers. Make sure your network allows p2p connections. You can look up a few guides online if you need help with that
